Still not used to having a blog. As I'm sure you all can tell. Anyway, I'm back in Albion now. After a not long enough Thanksgiving break. But only a few short weeks til christmas... at least that's what i keep telling myself. *sigh* I need a serious vacation...
I took my mom to english gardens this morning and waited in the car as she went inside to get a wreath for our neighbor. As I glanced in the rearview mirror while singing loudly and off key to an overplayed song on the radio, I saw a couple who had just purchased a Christmas tree and they were trying to fit it in the back of their SUV. They giggled and kissed as they tried to close the back door. And for a moment, I was jealous. Jealous of a lot of things. Their companionship in one another, the fact that the Christmas tree was probably the only thing on their agenda that day and that they were going to take it home that night and decorate it. And even if it wasn't the only thing on their agenda, they still were so happy with each other. And the moment. Happy in the moment. That's a feeling that should be felt much more often than it is in life. It's interesting how little things like that capture your attention. And make you learn something.

Wow.. this is way weird.. I have an online journal of sorts. Kinda. I mean, the only difference is you are forced (well not really forced, but kinda) to read my thoughts, but you can't comment on them. that's the only downfall. because i like comments. i'd tell ya to IM me and leave a comment that way, but that's just dumb isn't it. Hm. Well here I am. uh. Thanks for reading! And uh.. thanks John for settin this shizzle up for me. Seeing as all i want from the world is to be the center of attention and get sympathy from all of you. Well that's not really the case. No it is. No it's not! Um, excuse me, the voices in my head need to have a chat. Leave a message somewhere around here, will you? :)
